Miracle
04:02
|
|||
You know we all start out the same way
with a little love and a whole lot of time
we each have our own share of fortune and pain
but it's up to us to decide what to do with this life
and I believe that everyone is a miracle
for the simple fact that we're all alive
and I believe we can all make our own miracles
if we just find a dream and have the courage to try
I am a miracle because I am alive
I am a miracle because I can believe
I am a miracle and I will survive thru all my trials
because I believe in me
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Take a look at me now from way back when
and take a look at me now standing here today
I wanna' thank you for helping me down that long, long road
but there's one thing that I just can't take away
I am a miracle because I am alive
I am a miracle because I can believe
I am a miracle and I will survive thru all my trials
because I truly believe
Now don't you ever think that you aren't gonna make it
and don't you ever let your life go gettin' you down
when you see a chance you know you gotta' take it yeah
cause there's a miracle out there waiting to be found
I am a miracle because I am alive
I am a miracle because I can believe
I am a miracle and I will survive thru all my trials
because I believe in me
and I truly believe
Oh, I am a miracle
because I believe in me

Graduation Song
04:04
|
|||
When we were younger
all we wanted to do was grow
get our driver's license and ride right outta' here
now I don't know
When I think about the old times
the good well outweighs the bad
and even if that's not true
that's the way that I feel about the time spent with you
And I don't wanna' go
No I don't wanna' go
And I don't wanna go
if it means leaving you
They say that it's normal
they say that it's right
but I know we're never gonna' be the same again
after tonight
So I'll pack up all my courage
and collect all my dreams
say goodbye to all the good old times
as we head out on uncertainty
And I don't wanna' go
No I don't wanna' go
And I don't wanna go
if it means leaving you

Don't know the ending but I sure like the start
it was gray outside but sunny in yur heart
and my life's so happy when you're playing a part
I'm so glad it was you who was there
Been a long time since somebody cared
been a long time since someone was willing to share
been a long time since I held a woman's hand
so glad it was you who was there
Little things you did, well they weren't so little at all
like the fruit and the movie and the night at the mall
and you can make me happy with just one telephone call
I'm so glad it was you who was there
Been a long time since somebody cared
been a long time since someone was willing to share
been a long time since I touched a woman's hair
so glad it was you who was there
I'm so glad it was you who was there
Been a long time since somebody cared
been a long time since someone was willing to share
been a long time since I held a woman's hand
so glad it was you who was there
so glad it was you who was there

Andi
03:05
|
|||
I hurt my heart on the picture of you
huddled in the closet as they came after you
just like a child in a fire, not knowing what to do
oh Andi, what happened to those days
where trouble never troubled you
I wish I could bring them back to you
oh, Andi, I pray for you
Your dad's in heaven
he's not ashamed of you
He isn't bothered by the funny things that you do
he's in a better place and sees you from a different view
Oh, Andi, he died,
but he never stopped loving you
I hope you know that's try
Oh, Andi, I pray for you
You're often crying
and into denying
and you go flying with your two feet flat on the ground
You have seen green so green and blue so blue
the sun and the stars and the moon
and you're gonna be landing there soon
in the middle of a monsoon
I hope you make it through
oh, Andi, I pray for you
Oh, Andi
I pray for you

I Love You
03:23
|
|||
If I had the time
to take back all the pain I caused you
and if I had the dimes
to pay back everything I cost you
I would surely find
how I sad I am because I lost you
and I would have to say
I love you
I love you
If I'd been inclined
to get to know you better
I wouldn't have had to find
how great that you were in your eulogy
and I would have had the time
to know you in your time
and I'd have gotten to say
I love you
I love you
Now I have the mind
to get to know you better
and I will take the time
to tell you all how much you mean to me
it isn't very hard
just live beyond my own mind
and don't forget to say
I love you
I love you

59 Minutes to Midnight
05:41
|
|||
When I was just a kid late at night in the kitchen
sometimes I'd see the clock on the wall
its hands were closing in on midnight
and I don't know why but I was scared in a way I can't explain
some years later standing in my driveway
girl from down the street said there were bombs pointed at our heads
and my life changed that day, a Cold War child comes of age to find
midnight is the end of the world
Somewhere there's got to be a place
where everything is safe, where everything is fine
and who must you know to say this pace
is clearly out of place, with 59 minutes to midnight
This world's good at coming up with ways
that lead us into darker days and keep us all afraid
it's in the food we eat, the air we breath, the posturing and lies believed
and everyone who hates
Somewhere there's got to be a place
where everything is safe, where everything is fine
and who must you know to say this pace
is clearly out of place, with 59 minutes to midnight
Bring it back, turn it back
59 minutes to midnight
Bring it back, turn it back
59 minutes to midnight
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
Somewhere there's got to be a place
where everything is safe, where everything is fine
and who must you know to say this pace
is clearly out of place, with 59 minutes to midnight
Bring it back, turn it back
59 minutes to midnight
Bring it back, turn it back
59 minutes to midnight
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
wo-ho-ho oh-oh-ho oh-ho
